I wonder if crayfishes feel lonely at times, since they’re fiercely territorial.
Quoting from my ex’s blog:
True loneliness is when you are surrounded by people in the flesh and skin, everyday, everywhere. YET you can connect with absolutely no one neither kith nor kin, near or far, then and now. No one reaches you and you do not reach out. It’s as if you’re caged up and jailed in this vacuumed bubbled-space, screaming desperately for help but no one would stop. Time just quietly passes by.
THAT, is loneliness.
I feel that sometimes. But when you embrace the loneliness(?), you know that no one will ever let you down.
It’s only me vs. whole world. Suffocating, but strangely comforting.
I want to migrate to Iceland.

i know guinea pigs can die from depression caused by loneliness, not too sure about crayfish
